So I haven't really posted recently.
I'm not really posting unless I've created something.

So I guess this has turned into the place where I favourite things and maybe post fanart if I ever get around to doing manipulations, and poetry when I end up writing some.

So I'm going to Rome tomorrow. For a week.
I'm on the speech team at my college, and we have international competition in Rome.
This means that I will have a shitton of photos to post when I get back.
I'm super excited but it hasn't fully hit me yet (even though we've been talking about it since September) so I haven't even packed or anything. But I will.
The competition is 2 days (closer to a day and a half, really) so we get Sunday, half of Monday, and all of Wednesday through Friday to be touristy and go have a look at everything.
I'm definitely going to the Colosseum. And the Largo de Torre Argentina, which is a cat sanctuary built on the ruins of the place where Caeser was killed. I think a group is also planning to take a train to Venice, so I'll probably do that too.
(If anyone has suggestions of places I should go see, comment and let me know! I need all the suggestions I can get!)

Well, this week was supposed to be productive.
It wasn't.
I stepped on a screw and it went into my foot so now I'm on crutches. Which is really annoying and not very good for maneuvering. I'm also on antibiotic which is really annoying because it makes my stomach hurt. They tell you to eat yogurt when taking the pills, and I have been. But the only yogurt we have is plain yogurt and it tastes awful.
Now I just hope my foot heals before Sunday so I can march in Pride.
I'm also counseloring for Ucamps this year. Two weeks of it in July/August. Definitely excited for that.

I haven't updated this journal in ages.
Nothing much going on. I'm in school. Trying different kinds of art out.
Monica got me into Doctor Who and then I found Torchwood so those are two new obsessions.
I'm counseloring for SDC again this year so more photos from will be up at the end of August.
Basically that's it.
I'm boring.

So I finally got my driver's license after having my permit for three years. So yay! But I'm still going to take the bus to school because it's cheaper and I can finish my homework.

I have discovered a new obsession. James Dean. I love him. He's an amazing actor and a legend and he inspires me like crazy. I've been reading some biographies of him and all this stuff. Yeah. Plus he's gorgeous, which is always good.

My Sociology of Gender class is pointless. I know all the material without reading the book because I've either researched it long ago or it's common sense. I could sleep through all the classes and still ace the tests. Which is hilarious because only 4 people got As and I was one of them. Most people got Cs and Ds. I never even studied.
Magazine Production is really hard especially since I am master procrastinator. But I like it. My marketing class is easy and hard at the same time. Graphic design is amazing. AMAZING. Yeah.
I hate my photography class. It goes against ALL my photography morals. We're learning how to edit stuff in photoshop. I like photoshop, but I say, if you cant make your photos look good the instant you take it, you shouldn't be a photographer. I never do more editing on my photos than minor colour correction and cropping/straightening. Grr. Photography, in my opinion, is all about flaws. Flaws are what make a good photograph. Flaws are what draw the eye to a photo and make people go "Hmm. Interesting." Making a photo look completely perfect is just oajfpdhfOWEHTkfnsnc lzkjds. Yeah.

Anywho, yeah. I need a job. Hmm. Oh, I got a Tumblr account. Qafkinnetic is the screenname if people want to check it out. It's mostly just me being crazy.
